Before starts,

Here, I’d like to introduce one of my design principles. When designing, I usually apply the thesis-antithesis-synthesis framework. This approach helps me structure ideas and create balanced, meaningful experiences. For Draw Hatha, I followed his principle as well—here’s how:

Thesis: Many services use characters or icons to capture users’ attention. While this is certainly an important approach, I saw this as the ‘thesis’—a widely accepted design convention.

Antithesis: However, Draw Hatha is a service focused on yoga practice and record-keeping. We chose to eliminate unnecessary elements and emphasize core value delivery. This led us to adopt a minimalist design, using simple geometric shapes and a restrained color palette. This represents the ‘antithesis’—a deliberate departure from conventional visual engagement strategies.

Synthesis: Our service also features Sketchbook, a key function that acts as a reward system. With each practice log, users progressively complete a drawing, and after seven consecutive days, they finish a full picture. Unlike the minimalistic design approach, Sketchbook introduces an element of visual creativity, offering users both a sense of achievement and enjoyment. This serves as the ‘synthesis’—bringing together simplicity and engagement in a meaningful way.

Can people really experience self-awareness through yoga,
or does it just become an hour of practice?

Draw Hatha aims to help users connect their yoga practice with their daily lives so they can discover more about themselves and live with confidence. The word "Hatha" in Draw Hatha stands for balance and harmony. By reflecting on their yoga practice and tracking their progress, we want to support users on their journey towards a balanced and harmonious life.
To visually convey this unique experience with consistency, we developed a visual identity and designed a visual language to communicate the mood of self-awareness and immersion that the brand will offer moving forward.

The symbol was designed inspired by the concept of 'connection,' one of Draw Hatha's core values, and the practice of yoga. A dot in the shape of a circle is placed within the typography, symbolizing the slow immersion and focus on oneself, along with the rhythm of the breath. Through this process, the intention is to show the light that comes from staying centered within oneself and extending that connection into daily life.

Are you living a "yogative" life?
It’s hard to bring the positive energy we awaken through yoga or meditation into our daily reality. Even when our hearts are full, the challenges and problems we face keep repeating. So, we wondered: how can we carry this fullness into our daily lives? How can we make it last longer?
That’s why we’re here to help you take time each day to focus on yourself. By listening to your inner voice and taking time to record your thoughts in your own language, you can slowly draw a line connecting the universe within you to your everyday life. The light that comes from this strengthened self will surely shine on your daily life.
